Assistant Night Manager abusing his power and throwing guests out for the hotel.

Situation: We arrived back at the hotel and was being accused of not paying for a room when all 3 guests had access cards and obviously are guests of the room. He refused to let us up and wanted to charge us one more night's rate (WTF?!) or otherwise throw us out. After finally causing trouble for 15 mins and realising he is in the wrong we are allowed to leave but when we requested to get his last name to lodge a complaint, he accused us of winding him up and threaten to throw us out.

THIS MAN'S NAME IS PAUL CURRAN. DO NOT GO TO HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE. WE MET GUESTS WHO COMPLAINED TO US ABOUT HIM AND ARE GOING TO LODGE A COMPLAINT TOO ON THAT SAME WEEKEND. UNBELIEVABLE

  • Had problems with this guy the weekend just gone! Had exactly the same problem as you guys and he ended up ejecting two of us from the hotel. We have filed a complaint to the holiday inn and it looks like we will be getting some free stays out of it! :P

    Completely no need for his 'zero tollerence' attitude towards us as paying guests who where not causing him any trouble.

  • We had problems with this guy as well.

    Completely incompetent and shouldn't be in a job.
