My wife, and I, own approximately 80 animated display pieces that range from the 1940's to 1970's. Each year, Peoples Bank in Marietta, Ohio, contracts with us to transform their entire city block of huge plate-glass windows into vintage-inspired animated Christmas cards. For still pictures, visit our site at www.crownmarketingservices.com. This video is of our 2007 display of the windows and some internal bank ledges. Sorry that it's not clearer. In 2008 we will film at night so you don't see so much of the street reflections.

  • I love your window displays. Takes me back to how the department stores decorated back in the 1960's. Beautiful job!!!

  • Thanks for the comment. We try to really stick with the old style displays. The displays are tremendously well received in our area. The bank, who hires us to present the windows, is in a historical shopping district, so it's a perfect tie-in. Keith

  • These window displays are very nice and I can only imagine the hard work and time that went into this presentation. I wish a business in my town would do something like this.

  • The display project is one of our favorites. Fortunately, we have a client who sees the value and appreciates the nostalgia that the windows present. The community response is tremendous each year. People are already asking about this year's window concepts. Thanks for your comment.

  • Great musical selections. Thanks for posting this awesome video.

  • I just loved this! Your wonderful displays beat out today's high tech windows by a mile!

  • This video is wonderful. My daughter and I restore vintage mechanical window dislapys for a doctor friend who has collected them for years. She has about 100 which I have restored about 35 of so far. These range from most of a magnificent Nutcracker Suite group, which are about 3 ft tall to all kinds of forest creatures and dancing Santas. We have many varieties of Santas too, all animated. Her husband restores the mostly German motors so they mostly work. Thanks for posting. I hope 2 C more.

  • The song is "Song of the Sleigh Bells" by June Hutton, 1953.

  • TACKY......! if you want to see a magical mechanical display... watch the British A Chrismtas Carol with the Toy shoppe window scene with Tiny Tim... makes this look like disney crap

  • Wonderful! Thanks for sharing this!

  • It would be amazing for me to have this for Christmas.I go all out for Christmas, and I beleive having a display like this is all that is missing.
