@AMPSHOWS I like the dry sound personally - yes they are not very panned and the sound is kind of clinical, but you can hear every note and it's very true to the original recording rather than being lathered up with reverb / EQ

@thebigguyconnor Listening on good phones Audio Technica ATH 150 revealed the drums being too dry in the mix, not enough room or reverb. I realize that the close miking isolates the drum to avoid bleed, but that compromises the sound IMHO. Still love the cover though. I'm a fan.
