  • as i said wonderful and amazing!!! i'm scared to start do one for my 3 years old daughter Bday, but watching that video is like a boost for me to just start it and let it go, such great job,

my question please as i saw the same, where can i found that mat for cutting out the white and gave look like dentelle please, that's looks fantastic, the best video for princess cake ever seen :)

  • @10101jasmine - You can find the mat at cake decorating stores. I rolled the fondant on a mat made by Wilton called roll and cut. the White lace in front of the dress is a lace cutter from FMN. If you cannot find the lace cutter; you can make lace instead. I have another Doll cake tutorial on my blog if you want more ideas.

  • May be a dumb question but what are you using to glue/stick things with? Amazing by the way, you make it look easy! Gonna give this a test run before making it for my little girls birthday!

  • @lilmissmackem - Not a dumb question at all. I just use water, sugar stick to sugar like glue. It's a fairly easy cake once you have the right shape. All the best.

  • Wonderful Cake! How did you add the detail to the ribbon and bow around her waist?

  • @Fa1th15604 , Thanks, I used a textured rolling pin. You could emboss your fondant with almost anything, like a clean unused table liner, your flower cutters or special textured rolling pin and mats. i that helps.
