Time domain simulation of ILC (international linear collider) positron target. This target is a rim (1m radius), being hit by photon flux, which knocks positrons out. The rim has to be rotates otherwise the area where photons hit melts. At the same time there is a strong magnetic field present which collects positrons. We have a metal target rotating in a presence of strong (few tesla) magnetic field - magnetic brake. Eddy current are induced which interact with the magnetic field making it hard to spin the target. Requirement on the engine to spin the target suddenly becomes on the order of 1000 hourse power :)
