If a New Volt car payment is less than your current monthly gas/fuel bill wouldnt you be stupid to keep your current car?
Is an asset better than feeding the oil companys? Over the next 10 years more than 1/3 of all cars will be electric

This is an extremely efficient method of propulsion. This is how ALL of the diesel-electric trains operate.
This is the way electric vehicles should be done until we find the holy grail of batteries.
