If you had no where to live, and no one to go to, how would you survive? This story came from the question of "how would a young person of the current generation survive homelessness". With technology and an ability to stay connected to the world, one has to wonder how "mobile" someone's life can become.
But, by no means is this an attempt to accurately tell a story of homelessness and struggle, and I realize that there are several advantages the protagonist (Alan) has in this film. It was made after the unfortunate loss of several scenes (for budget, logistics, and time reasons), that I personally felt would have added much more. Nevertheless, the cast and crew put up with a lot of haphazard production, and I thank them eternally for it.
Shot solely on the Canon T2i, with a single Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens. Audio recorded via the Zoom H4N and a single lav mic.
All the sounds and music are from the Free Sound Project, and I thank all the individual contributors of that site for their impressive work.
Edited in Adobe Premiere CS5 (that Mercury Engine is a life saver!), noise reduced through AVISynth, and compressed with x264.
