@phambo101 he personally didn't do it, although he probably had a lot to do with it behind the scenes. His wife Magda along with the help of a Nazi who i believe was some type of doctor, put the children to sleep and then poisoned them with cyanide. After that, Joseph and Magda killed themselves outside of the bunker in the gardens. Helga, the oldest, was the only one of the children that resisted. This girl, Hedwig, was the first to be killed. Truely tragic that this happened.

It's haunting that a little girl of four should be singing of such things, but such was the life and experience of most little ones at that time in German history.
