from Hintmag.com:
At Sao Paulo Fashion Week, Vivienne Westwood spoke about her collaboration with Melissa, maker of colorful plastic shoes, and took the opportunity to expound on American exploitation ("We're all going to die if it continues"), the virtues of Barack Obama, her manifesto on art and culture, why we must consume less and the real reason Naomi fell.
Like I said, if they cared about making their clothing affordable to everyone it wouldn't cost so much. Contrary to what you may believe, money doesn't disappear, it gets redistributed. Guess who wins.

ummmm but when the economy goes down, and poor people have even less money, ummmm the rich will have less too, where do you think they get theirs and get their services?

if designers were very concerned about making their clothing available to everyone, their clothing wouldn't cost thousands of dollars.

vaiuta, Obama and his wife let some comments slip that indicate that they have communist ideals. America should not take a chance with Obama. He's new and hasn't been in the public eye for long. Obama believes that he can improve America by making government larger, and that is very dangerous.

tranCendenz, i don't know if that is a positive thing or not, I think Farrakhan is definately a contraversial man (whether good or bad). Westwood is an intelligent erudite that sees the world needs change, and that is why she supports Obama. Everyone can nit-pick about anything to argue the negative, but when the overwhelming obvious is staring you in the face it's hard to deny

vaiuta, Obama supported a church that gave Louis Farrakhan a Lifetime Achievement Award. Do you think that's a positive thing?
