oh i see what u mean. i dont buffer so thats why they both seem the same for me. but personally i think clp is easier then chp since u can link it into combos easier.

You do your ultra DURING the sjc animation before leaving the ground. The time you have to press the PPP is 3 frames I believe which is incredibly easy compared to the many 1 frame links in the game. However, the EXECUTION time of the heavy punch (time it takes to LAND the hit) is longer giving your more time to buffer the sjc and ultra. With the light punch, you barely have any time to buffer the ultra. The SJC ultra link is an easy 3 frames. It's the buffering that's hard.
