@MrLowAltitude i am aware of how a double clutch gearbox works (wikipedia), but i think its almost impossible to get it by watching an animation as there are so many moving parts that you just cant focus on one thing.. its like watching a clockwork.. its impressive but i dont know how it works

@lobster9207 It's not that difficult. There are two clutches right behind the flywheel (left side). Every clutch can deliver power to a shaft which goes into the transmission. Theres a big, hollow shaft (blue) and a small one (green) inside it. The green shaft has gear 1,3,5 and 7 on it. The blue one has gear 2,4 and 6 on it. To cheange gear, one clutch opens and the other, whith the next gear preselected, closes. Advantage: Extremely fast gearchanges.
