@fabizio Well i know,i'm greek,what i didn't know was the meaning of those letters,i thought it was like a college fraternity/sorority,but your point of such association makes better sense than mine for what they were doing back then.
@truebassB its greek (Sigma Pi Mu Epsilon), this probably means that the person belonged to a religious brotherhood or association, such as civil engineering. This would explain the important amount of coins found.
