  • Oddly enough, the hair loss of Garibaldi can be viewed as a sub arc for the whole series.

  • I like the increased tempo. Personally:

Season 1: A great "getting to know" season for the series

Season 2: An ever greater "getting to know" season, especially for the Shadows.

Season 3: The best season. Severed Dreams. Z'ha'dum. 'nuff said.

Season 4: Fast, "boom boom boom" type but felt a bit rushed at the end

Season 5: Slow start, whopping later episodes, heartbreaking end (Sleeping in Light).

  • This is a show that could really do with the treatment that Star Trek TNG got on blu-ray recently, getting all the effect shots replaced with modern CGI which still stays true to the original (unlike the Star Wars re-imaginings, and the Star Trek Original Series, though that didn't turn out quite as bad as Star Wars did). Sadly, many the B5 effects really aged terribly.

  • @57M And I love how, ironically, how JMS seemed to predict his hair-loss by naming the character Gari(bald)i

  • @THETaconator9001LOL Well, Babylon 5 is not for everyone. It does take a little time to get into (especially season 1, but it picks up at a great speed from season 2). Personally however, you are missing out on one of the greatest sci-fi series ever created.

  • My favourite opening credits music is certainly the Season 3 title... It just sounds so epic as it introduces everyone.

  • @quantumjim I'd say watch Thirdspace after "Into the Fire" or "Epiphanies" in Season 4

  • @THETaconator9001LOL You have to get into the series, the story and character development is great! If you only dislike it because it's sci-fi, you have to look BELOW the pews!

  • THIS IS BORING TO ME! my friend showed me it......

  • @nic0ftime Actually, much of the B5 music was performed by Christopher Franke (the music's composer) and the Berlin Symphonic Film Orchestra, so it was a real orchestra.

  • @quantumjim 10x. =)

  • @DavidAleksiev Watch the seasons first. Thirdspace can be watched during the 3rd season. In the Beginning can be watched after season 4. The rest can be watched after the series, though I'm not a huge fan of them.
