  • Leonard Cohen is the God of Music and Poetry if that is possible .McAsherz do some research you fool, this is the writer of Hallelujah. Leonard Cohen is pure musical, lyrical and poetic genius. He is the poet laureate of not only his native Canada, but the world, and one of the very best musicians alive. If you want to see the most fantastic concert ever then go to Leonard Cohen's and you will have to re-evaluate your naive comments. I've seen Clapton from the floor, love him but Len's my MAN!

  • Cohen wrote it, Buckley covered it, Wainright murdered it, and now all modern artists copy the prostrate body

  • Been to 10 glastos and various other festivals and this followed by the newly reformed Verve was the most beautiful 4 hours of my entire life. Fucking legend.

  • This was one of my all time Glasto highlights. He had us in the palm of his hand for 2.5 hours. Grown men crying with the whole performance. Truly unforgettable. Great upload

  • Seen Leonard in 3 concerts. I am mesmerised by him. First heard him in the early 70's . Love his poetry, adore his music. He gives over 3 hours in a concert but so good is he, that you think you have only been there an hour.

Thank you God for sending us Leonard

  • Can’t deny that LC is one of the absolute best. The meaning of Halleluyah is from Hebrew ‘Praise Yah’, from first two letters of YHWH. So, is this song is a Hallellujah to something else, or is LC, like the psalmist, still able to look upwards, even in the darkest times...?

  • @rogeruk23 I'm an "old bad" who was once young. I thank the gods, every day, that Leonard Cohen was born and has helped me move up a step in my next life.

  • so wish i could have been in that crowd

  • @ffenest

Right back at you. Cry every time I watch this clip. Largely depression that I'm not there right now. LC has always been my hero, I was happy to see him at Glasto, and elated that the whole crowd (young/old/rich/poor/sober/inebriated) all fell under his spell...

  • This isn't the best version he's sung. But his talent is amazing. He's such a skilled songwriter and singer. The sun going down is just so much more amazing.

I don't even like religious songs but this one sends a chill down My spine and I love it.

  • @TheDamePlume yes ! he did not write listening to all of us ,,, he wrote listening to what's inside him

  • don't agree ,,,, watch the people in the audience ,,,, there is no comparison to studio anything ,,, lenny pierces folks ,
