The release is set for this fall just before the Nov elections.
Huge mistake.
The conservative base will be energized and looking for revenge. They will be motivated to get out the vote for McCain.
When will Democrats ever learn that less is more.
BTW: I am a Democrat.

I'm not so sure, Rob. I'm wondering if W will be preaching to the choir, or will those undecided voters buy a ticket and base a decision on this film? Especially if Bush isn't even running?
Fahrenheit 9/11 didn't seem to help the Democrats in '04, but then John Kerry had the charisma of a bored dentist on Ambien, so that certainly didn't help. Stone, for many, transformed Nixon into a sympathetic character. So I'm wondering if the Republicans might actually *like* this movie? We'll see...
