The ending for the NES game Ikari Warriors II.

This is Tape #1 of some of the NES games I've beat and kept track of on VHS since I was a child.
These date back as far as 1985, and is all true vintage footage. You'll also see a few boss fights
as well with some of the endings. I have converted this tape to digital format for your viewing
pleasure. There are 73 endings and boss fights totalling over 3 hours of footage. Not the highest
of quality footage, but these do come from a VHS tape about 20 years old.

Since this tape is so old, the video quality isn't perfect and it has a bit of wear and tear so
the first few endings appear a little warped and some here and there. The rest are fine.

I have split the tape up into several parts in order to fit on YouTube. Look for the others.
Hope you enjoy! :)

  • I remember playing the first one when it first came out. ABBA all day. LOL

  • What pisses me off is how the NES port really screwed over the sword. In the arcade version the sword was the best weapon since you could also slice through bullets and enemies. I'm sure they could have pulled that over easily in the NES port, but then WHY do all the bullets suddenly turn into bombs when you use it?

  • Come on, let's fight!

    END

  • Holy crap I used to do the same thing where i VHS'd my endings. Cool!

  • @nintendodailyvideos i know, it was sarcasm, lol

  • @the1andonlybigh worst ending ever

  • GEEZ!

This game was one of those 'just plain wierd' games that comes after a sequel.

I guess the makes thought, gee? The first one was so good, we'll just make an entirely different game!

Ok, so the idea of the game is simply the same, but what they changed from the original title was just HUGE!

  • I used to use the same tactic. Drop grenades on his head!

Luv when the bosses die. Rhaaaa!

  • Yeah, I was never quite sure about when I was doing damage because of the limited feedback. I remember I ran out of grenades thinking he just took a huge number of hits. I actually called Nintendo Power about that one!

  • I could never beat the last guy and after looking at the ending, I'm glad I couldn't. It looks more disappointing to clear the game than not to.
