The North Korea Freedom Coalition promotes the freedom, human rights and dignity of the world's most suffering and persecuted people, the people of North Korea. The NKFC is a nonpartisan group of over 70 American, Korean, Japanese and European organizations including hundreds of individual members ranging in age from elementary school to senior citizens who are committed to helping the people of North Korea. Currently, NKFC is involved in rescuing refugees directly, reaching out to the North Korean people through radio broadcasting and balloon launches, helping the North Korean defector organizations in South Korea, raising awareness of the issues in public, and promoting both individual and government action. The organizations motto is Acta Non Verba "Action Not Words". The NKFC hosts each year North Korea Freedom Week to raise awareness. The first North Korea Freedom event is credited with galvanizing grass roots support for the passage of the North Korea Human Rights Act of 2004.

  • is that a man or a woman?

  • even in the 21st century, a fucked up place like n. korea can exist

  • PREACH.

  • NKFC was a CIA agency of doing covert operations!

  • @v19d Sounds just like the USA empire too me.Just say NO to Imperialism.

  • @v19d But imposing Japanese names on there colonial subjects, while truly ethnocidal & wrong, is standerd fare of empires-including the USA one which has been pursuing a global 'Americanization'-names,religions,philosophies,etc-hegemony since 1945.And with no sign of stopping. And one of the many reasons why i oppose Imperialism. Its was wrong of Japan then & its wrong of the USA now.

  • @v19d I get your point but "racism' was not what Japan was doing. Its policies were oppressively ethnocentric, not 'racist'.Why?Because Japan,Korea & China are one 'race' with major ethnic & cultural peculiarities.Kinda like Italians & Greeks or Spanish & Portuguese people are 'one race',but different cultural groups within a 'race'.

  • @v19d Thats an internal issue. In the US of the 19th century the Mormon church was crushed because they thought differently on marriage. In the 20th century the m.o.v.e. was bombed & its members killed for dissident behaviour. All societies employ 'force' againts those that are deemed beyond the pale of community standards.

  • @v19d I agree 100 % .Korea is one.

  • @v19d :I totally agree with you on a peace treaty & a reunification agreement 100%
