AJ and Emma show you, yes YOU, how to make lolly cake in this easy step by step video.
MAKE LOLLY CAKE IN UNDER FIVE MINUTES!

A note to the Americans watching... "lollies" are what you call "candy" and "biscuits" are what you call "cookies". Just to simplify.

DETAILED RECIPE
Ingredients:
-120g butter
-250g crushed malt biscuits
-a packet of Pascall ESKIMOS (or similar lollies) cut into small pieces
-1/2 tin of condensed milk
-coconut (for coating)

Instructions:
Crush the malt biscuits into crumbs using a glass or by your own unique method of crushing things. Warm the butter and the condensed milk in the microwave (for about 30 seconds). Cut up the ESKIMOS (or similar (non-racist LOL) lollies) into small pieces. Add the crushed biscuits and cut up lollies to the butter and condensed milk. Stir the mixture well. Form the mixture into a log shape and roll in the coconut. Put the log in the fridge for four hours to set. Once set, cut the log into slices and serve.

  • hmm i'm not sure what a lolly is and i don't think we have malt biscuts here in the US what could i use in replace of them?

  • Lollies are what you call candy, I mentioned that in the sidebar because I predicted some 'foreigners' might not know what we meant lol. I don't know what else you could use instead of malt biscuits... maybe just plain biscuits with not much flavour.

  • Haha well that was a whole lot harder than it needed to be! Maybe try using a food processor to crush the biscuits next time, or put them in a tea towel and bash them with a rolling pin.

  • Thanks girls, was trying to teach a welsh baker how to make lolly cake. Watching 2 cute girls always makes cooking easier as well :) Thanks

  • Hi Girls, I had this recipe years ago and so glad to find it here again. I use Banana lollies and also for variety have used mini marshmellow . To crush the biscuits, us older generation have rolling pins to do the job. Thanks again, Sharon
