Great video. But I'd consider your speed drills as power drills. Obviously more power will generally make you faster, but you need to train an athletes feet to move faster. Downhill runs or bungee runs are good.

Those are some good drills... would they be appropriate for other sports as well?

Many of them would be... but each sport has specific drills / exercises that are more appropriate for it.
