yeah, thanks for the tip, I am currently looking into changing my fender right now. Thinking of getting the Heartland or the PM kit.

where do u buy them kits from in the US?
its prob a lot harder to get a hold of one here in aus...

Actually they have a heartlandbiker location in Australia too. Check it out and hope you find the right fender for your bike.
