its electricity passing through and burning the hair folicle. It feels like a little burning prick on your skin, and it does each hair one by one and is fairy cheap. you have to do thise about 6 or more times in sessions to permanantly kill the roots.

Laser doesn't work- I tried it. was the perfect candidate-no excuse-it just didn't work. and it is not guaranteed to be permanent. If only I had money for electrolysis now!
