Showing my first steps in Roomba Hacking in action...

The used FritzBox is configured as a WLAN repeater. (on this way, my Roomba is a mobile WLAN repeater for my arparment ^^). It is wirelessly connected to another FritBox 7170 - in this mode the LAN port of the robotside FritzBox is useable for normal ethernet devices, like IP-Cameras or AVR ethernet boards.
The USB to RS232 converter is used via a LAN to USB tunnel (FritzBox USB Fernanschluss) at the moment. Later the adaptor will be directly controlled by the linux firmware of the FritzBox.

On the PC side the program "Roomba Terminal" is used. To all interested in Roomba hacking, I recommend the book "Hacking Roomba" by Tod E. Kurt (ExtremeTech)...
