theres no one true way to determine whats mainstream and whats underground, that changes by the day. example inflames started as underground to say there not mainstream today(for there genre) would be clearly false. i guess go ask 100 people if they know who they are. when 3 people respond yes there u go its underground :P

I think the best way to describe the difference would be to say. Mainstream is what gets played on regular radio, and underground is everything else.

just bcos a song isnt played on the radio it doesnt mean its underground...mainstream is like what many ppl like...and i THINK underground is more like something that not well know . thats just my oppinion to this
