London Night Flight 06th November 2010

(view in 720p full screen) On the 6th of November 2010 Mike Wilkinson took a trip around London with myself and instructor Howard Smith. We were flying at 2400' using all the nav aids to get all around London: EGMC- Biggin, BIG to OCK, OCK to BLK, BLK to WOD, WOD to Wycombe, Wycombe to BNN, BNN to LAM then home to EGMC, Southend.
All the while, I was in the back of the aircraft trying to capture the Spectacular sight of not only the fact we were flying at night, which is always great, but also watching the 1000's of pounds worth of fireworks being spat into the air! Who says there's a resession! Great time, thanx Mike.

It was strange really to see how low that the fireworks were, when you are on the ground they appear to be shooting up into the stars, but when you are flying at 2,400 feet, they really are a waste of money. But great to see all that money going to waste and I was not spending it :-)
