معنای احساساتی شدن او هنگام خواندن این سرود چه بوده است او پاسخ داد: «وقتی چشم هایم بسته بود برای یک لحظه خودم را دراستادیوم آزادی ودرحال خواندن سرود ای ایران مجسم کردم.»
