Reading the comments... actually, everyone is mostly right.
This beach in the video (Mokuleia) is where the Pilot episode was filmed (Season 1, Ep 1). From the parking lot, it's a few hundred yards up the coast to the NE.
Since the pilot, the rest of the "Losties camp" beach scenes have been filmed at a beach known as Police Beach, which is just outside of Haleiwa town on the left as you're headed toward Waimea...just past the often-stolen + photographed Haleiwa sign.

Mokuleia beach is definatly the lost beach, i have been there for filming Jan 2009 and it was awsome! I been to hawaii over 25 times and the crew dont have any problem with you being on the beach during filming once you stay behind the cameras! God some people are so jealous! Nice video x
