  • yep

  • @DeathbringerDrago Larry does it so well because it's IN HIM...He's Carter's Stanley's son...Everyone knows that in Bluegrass...Ever wonder why Ralph chose him to be his lead singer after Carter died...Gave him his guitar and his boots...

  • No kidding--I went to this show (taping of BLUEGRASS,BLUEGRASS for Kentucky Educational Television) because I had a couple of free tickets. I was not really a big bluegrass fan when I went...pretty much was when I came out. I loved all the songs here, but I wish you had "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" separated out so I could put it on my Facebook page for Christmas.

  • Oh, I was there. It was the same week they recorded CLINCH MOUNTAIN GOSPEL. Unforgettable!

  • Ralphs best singer..........Keith Whitley

  • dont know how many times i can listen to this

  • goose bumps

  • Goes to show how many great singers come from the South and Eastern Kentucky. I was born and lived for a while in Hen Pen Hollow in Melvin, Ky. We always went back down to see my relatives for get togethers. People would come around and we'd play music for hours. The banjo players came and they'd go outside and take a break and have some whiskey each time they came back in they played better. My hearts in Kentucky but my body's someplace else. Hershel Jones sang from Wheelwright

  • @petranochka You need to hear Larry Sparks sing and play this song I just seen the rock of ages.

  • Absolutely love this song. Saw Ralph Stanley in Chicago 10 years ago,,,fantastic performer still.
