The big bluff at the end of the video is roughly south. The long bluff in the background of the panning scene is Fountain Bluff that lies to the west. I've never been here before during sunrise or sunset, but it is my personal belief that sunset might be more dramatic. Would be interested in seeing your videos or photos during either of these times. Good Luck!

@ironearth701 - I believe the closet camping is just south of here at the Pine Hills Campground. I know there is Turkey Bayou Campground just across the river from LGC, but don't know its status since the floods this spring. Thanks for the comment
