One of the most loved Chicago vocal groups, the Artistics made records that really typified 'The Chicago Soul Sound'. This cut features Tommie Green on lead and is one of my favorites. Gerald Sims arranged and produced here, and his work with the Artistics both on Okeh and Brunswick can't be overlooked. His close relationship with these guys seemed to inspire one good record after another. There are certain records that say 'This is Chicago Soul'. Here's one of them. The original recording from Spring, 1967.
Memories...Although not the original recording, it's all there!

I remember hearing songs like these when I was a young boy living with my parents and they would play songs like these on there stereo system in the 45rpm formatt. Those are some of the best days of my life that I will never forget.

This song sounds great as when I first heard it.
Was this the "A" side or the "B" side of the single?
