I really hate the way he says Dinan Cold Air Induction System. Like its something special. News Flash buddy........ CAI's DON'T WORK on 5 series. If anything they are hot-air intakes. Take a good look where the filter is. THAT'S RIGHT!!!! RIGHT BY YOUR ENGINE. HOT AIR. Duuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrr. Waste of money.

@Classic0187 Apparently you know nothing about an E39 with Mteck bumber. The fact is, is that the filter is at the end of the intake tube, several inches from the ground, where it receives direct air from scoops in the bumper. The filter is nowhere near the engine and its' heat. It's wannabes like you who know nothing of what you speak and spread bad info on the net. Moron!
spread bad advice on the net.

i have a question. why are exhaust systems so high priced?
and wats the ups and downs about them?

This one isn't high priced at all. For example, a SuperSprint or Dinan would cost upwards of 500-700. Sounds are different as is flow and efficiently. However, for the price, I really like this.

how much did u pay to mod the rear bumper? cause it doesn't look stock.. thanks
speedfreak3721 2 years ago
The rear bumper is part of the U.S. 2003 540 OEM M-Tech package. In essence, it is the same rear as used on the M5, although that one has outlets for the dual exhaust set up. The bumper was around $500.
