CTA Eye On Security - Dec. 2011 - Connections - Chicago Transit Authority

The CTA has completed installation of more than 1,700 cameras at rail stations across the system. The new cameras are in addition to the existing camera network, so there will be a total of more than 3,000 throughout the system. That, plus an added police presence on the CTA helps keeps criminal activity in check.
