Numerology w/ Launchpad Part 1.mov

This demo shows the Five12 Program Numerology being controlled by the Novation Launchpad. Jim Coker, the creator of Numerology is demonstrating how the Launchpad is mapped as a custom controller for Numerology. Launchpad makes Numerology easy to use as a live performance tool for complex sequences. Numerology is driving a Synthesizers.com / MOTM modular synthesizer with a MOTM 650 Midi to CV convertor.

Can I use more than one launchpad? I was thinking about getting a second Launchpad. What about the APC40 controller, will there be anything available for it?

No for the moment. Also Launchpad is proprietary to Ableton, so if you start Live first, it will take the LP over. But you can use one for Live and one for Numerology if you don't use Num in rewire mode. APC 40 will have support, though perhaps not as comprehensive because of the 5X8 grid

Thanks Antonio. Your videos are beautiful to watch and listen to. The version of Numerology is 2.3b1 It should be available to registered users on the Five12 forum any day now. The Numerology / Launchpad template is part of the Numerology installer, and so is active upon starting Numerology when a Launchpad is connected. The custom stickers should be available on the forum as a template for standard Avery stickers. You should be able to download it and print them out.

Then I can use my APC40 to trigger clips in Ableton and my launchpad to control the step sequencing in Numerology via rewire by not setting the Launchpad as a control surface in the preferences section in ableton. maybe? guess when Launchpad support is available for Numerology i will try it and post a video.

This is great, 808 style sequencing. Which version of numerology is this. How do I use my Launchpad with your software ? Is there a template available? do you sell this with the custom stickers.
