  • What a bunch of hogwash.

  • @JoabAnias Compared to what?

  • Just to be clear.... This video further shows distortion of what Communism is, as defined by The Communist Manifesto. There is no "land control" in communism. There is no income tax, progressive, flat, or regressive. There is no central bank. There is no control of education. Despite common belief, the world has never seen a communist society. It is classless, moneyless, and stateless. Nothing is controlled by anything central, rather it is all collectively operated by all people.

  • @hunterlydick Are you claiming communism is voluntary? If so, show me a working example. The 20th century is wrought with examples of totalitarian statism crushing the masses in the name of "communism". There can be no peaceful collectivism because humans are naturally self-interest driven. The right to acquire private property and maintain it through self responsibility is the only workable solution.

  • There's still a John Birch Society?

  • @ClumsyRoot Yes. jbs.org

  • @jsrRoger Just curious, are you a federally paid blogger or something? Define some terms for me. What does right or left mean, specifically? Left or right of WHAT? What specifically has John McManus said here regarding Gingrich's record that is untrue?

  • The point is, as The Who would say, to not get fooled again. It's important to recognize who "the insiders" are and to not support them. Fortunately people are waking up.

  • @hunterlydick Have you ever even read the Communist Manifesto? If you had, you would know that an income tax is it's second plank, among other things. Wake up!

  • @krickerd Keep believing that its untrue. We keep losing our freedoms every day and Newt Gingrich is not gonna make this country any better. He never did any good when he was a congressman and he wont do any better at being President.

  • @TeamKNEIN ... was straight propaganda. The "goals" were read into the Congressional Record in '63 and people believed the bias because they were afraid. You can't trust a capitalist in the Cold War to give you honest facts about communism.

Please choose better sources in the future. I am totally open to debating this, but I would like to have real facts and legitimate sources if I am going to be told that I fail or am incorrect. Debating should be a learning experience, not a battle.

  • @TeamKNEIN ... methods have really been tried. Like I said in my initial post, communism is classless, moneyless, and stateless.

Alright, on to the Congressional Record. Where to start... This set of "Communist Goals" was originally part of a book called "The Naked Communist". This book was written by a faith-based conservative named Cleon Skousen in 1958, at the forefront of rapidly growing fears of the Soviet Union and the space race, in the middle of the Cold War. Essentially, this book...
