According to City Hall, the entire Midtown Plaza block will be demolished. Only Midtown Tower and the underground parking garage will remain in that area. Midtown Plaza´s atrium was supposed to be saved because it was historically valuable. I guess Mayor Duffy did not care either way. If PAETEC cannot build their headquarters downtown, Midtown Plaza will just sit there. Ray Levato from News 10 NBC agreed. I saw him on Saturday with his family.

if they save the Atrium as a historic place will they move the clock back in to it ther is no point in restoring the Atrium with out the clock

Yes, it was restored and you can see this clock at the Greater Rochester International Airport until 2012.

im glad, thank you for dedicating your time to put all the information about the mall. it's sad to see it go. I am from chicago and have never been but i am interested in all the malls that have come and gone... thanks again!
