Yes , real sculpts are still being used in the games and movie industry for visualization during pre-production process. Case in point is Avatar the movie. However with the current technology, with the advent of 3D printer ( matter of time to reach high resolution quality ) , I feel traditional sculptor will slowly be a rare commodity . However be it Z-brush or 3D printing, it's the core talent and creativity of the artist that counts. Those technology are just a mere tool.

Hey man, it´s amazing to see, how you sculpt Hulks head, he looks so damned angry... Have you allready finished the statue/bust, I would like to see it in fullsize?? I´m still a novice, at the moment I´m sculpting my first statue, Logan in 1/3 scale, and I hope that I could learn more about sculpting muscles, veins and so on... One more time, this Hulk head is f......g amazing!!! :o)
How long did this take you!!!!!

Tools.. nothing in particular really.. I use my fingers and and finger nails a lot. I feel they are my best tool for large sculpts. However for finer details.. I use a lot of the loop tool and also the tool with a metal ball at the tip. Not sure what that is called. I hardly rake my sculpt but a lot of pushing instead. Hope that helps?.
