The domestic violence industry debunked by Erin Pizzey: it's about money and Feminist control.

An analysis of the most commonly cited statistic in the domestic violence roadshow: 1 in 4 women experience domestic violence in their lifetimes . Looks at the way DV has been made into a gender issue when this is demonstrably false and the reasons men are wrongly and deliberately singled out for blame.

Featuring: Erin Pizzey, the founder of the worlds first domestic violence shelter; Angry Harry, psychologist and Mens Rights activist; Stephen Fitzgerald, Director of the Mankind Initiative Mens Charity; Oliver Curry of the London School of Economics and Demos the independent think tank.

  • Only 1 real problem with this series. They keep calling those sexist, man-haters "feminists." REAL feminists aren't like this; and would accept the good with the bad and be more like the woman in Pink.

All the "feminists" groups they're talking about are only CALLED feminists, but they're not. they're just sexist, man-haters.

Other than that they're spot on.

  • @TerryB01 Only 1 real problem with your comment. Feminists ARE sexist man-haters. Even the "REAL" ones.

Don't get me wrong. I understand the refutations trotted out by earnest Feminists that "not all Feminists are like that", "Feminism is not monolithic", "real Feminists sport halo's" etc. But, in the end, ALL Feminists are on the SAME team and they are all part of the SAME problem. Feminists are either complicit or else they are 'useful idiots'.

Unfortunately, sexism and Feminism are identical.

  • On the argument that a woman is never responsible for being abused...

Nobody, regardless of gender, deserves to be abused. That does not change the fact that high-risk behaviours can and will increase the chances of being abused. A major part of protecting people from abuse is teaching them the skills and abilities to break habits which make them vulnerable.

  • Sorry but at 6:50 he doesn't describe 2% or women. He describes about 95% or them.

  • @Edbrad Thanks, you too:)

haha no problem. I used to believe a lot of stupid stuff myself. Take care :)

  • @Edbrad I know this NOW. At the time I was still ignorant to all the stuff feminist groups do. Since then I've done some research on them and found things that weren't very "equal" so much as "whiny" and unappreciative. Truth be told I'm a bit embarrassed by my original comment and might flag it for spam myself.

Being a humanist is a good idea, but before we can dot hat properly we need to focus on men and get to a good even ground and THEN go for the humanist approach.

  • Love this women. So nice to see sense.

    "REAL feminists aren't like this"-

If you identify yourself as a feminist you're going to be thinking in terms of advocating womens rights. be a HUMANIST. Care about ALL HUMANS. In my experience if you call yourself a feminist even an liberal one, will have their thoughts coloured and they will therefore be sexist, even if they arent as bad as this.

  • @SphincterOfDoom I know that now.

  • @TerryB01 No True Scotsman fallacy

  • Here that Rihanna? Both sides can contribute to violence. Get help, dear. Get help.
