a lot of my favorite artists used drugs but i wouldnt say that the drugs made the music, but opened up their mind to a certain realm where they could draw inspiration from (psychedelic rock would have ever been created had it not been for LSD). Or some drugs could just dumb someone down enough to think that their music is good, when it's really just strange music, and then eventually people will either find aspects of it that are good, or will pretend to like it to be "hip" or "indie"(The Shags?

I don't know about all drugs, but weed and mushrooms both have enhanced my experience of music. I don't have to be high to enjoy my music, but it does enhance certain aspects.
