  • I wish it had english subtitles since I don't understand french.

  • I ´m very sorry, but this DVD included the English subtitles only for the movie, not for the "Making of..."....Really pity.....

  • JaRoWi1647:

For all of us who have loved this movie and watched it so many times this documentary is invaluable. I couldn´t be more thankful to you for having posted it.

  • Thank you!

    You´re very welcome!

I also love the movie , though, it´s not really one true biographie of Cavaliere Broschi. But so beautiful done.....And Stefano Dionisi is superb!

  • @kikivolauvent1 He he he :p There are so many beautiful counter tenor voices recently, but one that can summon such passion from their audience -like Farinelli to this day still can command-, I've only felt such calling from P. Jaroussky.

^u^ I loved that BBC documentary! Thank you very much for pointing it out to me! <3

GOODNESS ME!!! you're not asking for much :))))

I am not the fan I probably should be; I discovered (as a voice not as a groupie!) Andreas Scholl as a very young singer and I keep very faithful to him, lol!

    musical greetings! Kiki

  • @kikivolauvent1 I will look it up! Thank you :) I keep thinking they should make a similar(ly well made) film with Philippe Jaroussky in it! <3 ^u^

I can't get enough of the MAKING OF - AND - the film Farinelli. I think it's mostly the improbably difficult and incredibly ingenious music, wonderful, wonderful singers, then (later on) the superb acting and the skillful, subtle but insistant coaching - I'm addicted to this film.

I therefore understand your reasoning about English subs. If you want some more help, look up clau83, there are some videos on this film too - in English!! (one BBC, excellent). Hope this helps!

  • Quisiera saber que dicen no entiendo nada.

  • breathtaking talents to listen to!
