MMS appears with Hugh Grant!

In 1985 Clancy was asked to design costumes for a little drama-doc called Lord Elgin & Some Stones of No Value for UK C4 & Greek ERT, directed by Christopher Miles, for whom she had designed costumes on The Virgin & the Gipsy 20 years earlier. I was roped in as Assistant Director & ended up as the Captain of Lord Elgin's ship (which sank - like the film) but it was remarkable for an allstar cast consisting of Nigel Havers, Hugh Grant & Julian Fellowes. The latter 2 being unheard of at the time. Early on in this clip you see my son Sam as a cabin boy on a cannon too.
