What is so bad with atheists?!? I'm a atheist, I don't believe in any god. If you say science is my religion, you are wrong. I don't worship science, but I do believe that science is the truth, because it is the human mankind that is exploring the world, and all the things in it If they are wrong the first time, the accept the mistakes and try to explore the subject more until they have figured it out.If I say that something is wrong in the bible,like sexism and stuff, a christian would say no

Oh, this hurts. HURTS. I'm reliving the psychological abuse of religious inculcation that was my childhood and teenage existence. However, this sermon has greater value than might appear at first glance. This is the stuff atheism is made of - in other words, listening to sermons like this (or worse, so much worse) gave me SO MUCH TIME and mental fodder to think about why religion generally, and Christianity specifically, make no sense.

A douche is the French word for SHOWER.

In American slang, it is apparently also a word fo a nasty, unpleasant and manipulative man - a bit like this preacher, in fact.

How many times does he say, "Here God is saying ..." No, God is saying nothing at all. it is only THE PREACHER who is saying these things and attributing them to his invisible friend, God. Unfortunately the 'believers' accept that he has a hotline to his boss.

No, he does not have any more of a hotline than you or me. We can all make up things and attribute the notion to some higher being then persuade others to believe it.

I couldn't agree more. The preacher is, as you so rightly say, a quintessential jackass. He thinks that a letter written in Greek a couple of thousand years ago to a group of churches bearing no resemblance to today's should be read in a version translated into 1611 English - which he has difficulty enunciating.

His claims about what his invisible friend, God, is telling people is entirely from his deluded imagination.

Atheism. Its in my opinion a clear view of the world. You probably are happier believing but you are lying to yourself. Also you hate women, you hate gays and get this! YOU LOVE SLAVERY! Because God loves slavery! According to the bible you do.

Me personally I'm atheist, Women should be treated equal, gays are fine by me, and the word is better without slavery.
