Howards accent has hardly any discernable regional inflections, and whilst he went to Leeds grammar school and was born as you say in Scunthorpe, there is little trace of a Yorkshire accent. This is most likely because he appears to have moved around the country. It could also be because he is perhaps more middle class; a clue here is that he attended a Grammar school. Sorry to bore you
Pete's accent isnt a Manchester accent at all, for that, hear the Gallagher brothers. He was born in Leigh which is a small town to the west of Manchester which has a typical accent for a satellite town of Manchester and would be better described as a Lancashire accent,(although these vary slightly from town to town)
Wanted to see and have this Documentary for so long, it seems a shame it's all been ruined by deleting sections of live moments from all the parts you put up. Any chance in sending me a copy of the whole thing, pretty please...
