Yes whenever you select the destinations it is pre-loaded with the local information of that country. In the menu you select flight management info and enter the origin and destination of flight. The maps load like a live powerpoint presentation. One can also have it load photos of points of interest and even highway maps and connecting gate info.

Who'd of thought that AA would put it all in metric! I wonder if it's selectable between metric and US units?

It fluctuates between Metric and Imperial, I think its because its flying between the UK and US where both units are used.
