  • Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Like you, a lot of people heard the song for many years but could never seem to find out who sang it. Lucky Youtube came along.

  • I think I'm watching TCM :-)

  • The first time I heard this was on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) on tv and I fell in love with it. Every time my life becomes challenging, and I think that it can't get any worse, this little tune always comes to mind and I realize that even through sadness and heartache one can survive. So I just sing it to myself any time "life happens" and next thing I know I'm back on track with life! Great song, and extremely inspiring!

  • What a great tune! Splinded!

  • I can't express what I feel when Chet Baker sings. His inimitable voice is instantly recognizable and yet every time I can't prevent myself from getting the goosebumps... Look for the silver lining and you will find the sunny side of life... Beautiful... Thanks for the upload.

  • My father used to sing this to me when I was little. :D

  • I like this original version of Chet Baker singing this song; I heard a different version of Chet Baker singing "Look For The Silver Lining" and I prefer the 1950s version.

  • I wondered who the artists were when I used to hear this cool singer on the lead ins to TCM movies on cable. Super trumpet player also. This cat always reminded me of the soft laid back jazz artists in the style of Bobbie Troupe and Julie London. Thanks for the upload.

  • every song from Chet Baker i listen too i get the goosebumps

  • Thanks!

  • @ArthurKaletzky great documentary! I've read that Bruce Weber will not release any of his movies on DVD, not sure if that is true and if it is why?

  • Once more I shall teach you . . That uttermost wisdom: The sages who found it . . Were all made perfect, Escaping the bonds of the body. . .
