where can i get a monitor for mine

I just started having a small problem with my MK arcade monitor. It started when I adjusted some settings on the remote board. Like yours mine also is very wavy when you touch some of them even barely. My main problem though is the vertical setting for going up an down keeps moving on its own. I will have it perfect and it may gradually move during play. Or it will be just fine when I turn it off but next time I play it will have moved about half an inch or more. Anyone know what the problem is?

@YourMKArcadeSource: Do you still have the cabinet you have the WG D9800 mounted in? Looking through the old videos I can only find reference about the K7000 but I know you had the D9800 at one time. How did you go about mounting it? In particular the two wood strips inside, do they get removed or sawed? The 4 metal blocks, they just get shifted around ? Also the two metal mounts that attach the monitor to the blocks, did you buy a custom mount (because it sticks out an extra inch or cut down

I always thought the monitors weighed alot more and were much more of a pain in the ass to remove from the cabinet, half the reason why I havent taken my out and replaced it.

Moving my Neo Geo up some stairs this weekend and I've decided to take the monitor out to make it easier. Your video will be a big help! Thanks!
How much do those monitors usually weigh?

Would you need to discharge the monitor first?
AntoinetteJCitizen 2 years ago
Not necessarily. You would only need to discharge it if you are removing the chassis. Also, certain chassis' automatically discharge themselves and the tube when turned off.
