First show under saddle!!!! WOOO! Got third and second, out of two and three, haha. So last =/ BUT, I hate to say that someone, a hrmph, well, I can't say what I would like to call them, rigged the classes, I KID YOU NOT and went up to me before my class and was like, someone has to get a second place, god forbid everyone gets a blue ribbon. And then proceeded to talk bad about me while I was riding, told me that my horse was badly behaved and screeched that her kid rode better than me in the class she FORCED to combine so her kid WOULD ride against me! Then the kid was supposed to go before me and she tried to make me go first b/c i hadn't learnt the course fully yet! I was just going to go out and do a single competitor class to get Empy calmed down and end on a good note, but someone had to be a boogerhead. She was horrid and said the most awful things to me. =[ In the last clip you can hear her, "its not your fault your pony behaved badly." WHATEVER!

The trainer thought otherwise and wanted me to stay for a FREE private lesson =]] She was awesome, and did a great job with her students, I may have to go back there. I didn't stay for the lesson, the classes took too long, it became a competition btwn the stable kids, on 2 horses! Empy would have rocked the jumper classes, but b.c no one showed up they were canceled.
She did AMAZING, her first time in an indoor EVER, her first course EVER, her first under saddle class EVER, I mean a LOT of firsts for the baby. She struggled in the footing and when she got nervous gaited a bit, but did REALLY well, a bit strong at the last double, but she did great =]] So um yeah, NO CRIT. Love her so much, she didn't try over x rails, but it was just getting out and keeping her calm. She LOVED competing, she tried to force her way back into the gate and was SO excited, it makes me happy that she enjoys it so much! She spooked at the mirrors a bit, and then believe it or not we were attacked by a group of fainting goats in the outdoor, so she was spastic about that, LOL. But on the whole, she did SUPER! =]

I think thats it then, jumped Mr. Red yesterday and will have a vid of him up soonish, and maybe one of Tex =] Hope everyone is doing good!

You guys did great for your first show! Way to kick butt :D Even if boogerheads try to rig stuff. I have the same issues at hunter shows. They pick winners based on highly paid trainers, not the skill of the riders. If I were you, I wouldn't go to another one of their shows if they were acting like that. They should know that Empy is a young horse, and not a 30 year old school horse. I know that there are a few places I'll never go back. People suck. You rock - keep it up.
