This was a Southern Strong Hold during the Civil War. In fact they were still fighting here when the war had already been declared over. My Wife's Great Uncle was Clonal Lamb who ran the fort. If you visit here you will see her mothers maiden name all over the place, in fact you can see some pictures of Alyson's Grandmother.. How crazy is that. East Coast Paranormal will be going Ghost Hunting here Very soon. We hope to find some good stuff, maybe some footage of something interesting. PLEASE head on over to myspace and check out the E.C.P. Myspace page You will like it ....

PS

OOO yeah.... You get to see me film my 07 Acura TL dashboard for a few seconds.. that was unintentional... I was not trying to film that I am sorry about the shaky footage I was Driving and Filming as I'm sure that you can tell.. But it looks cool right!!!!

  • It's not hwy 40, It's HYW 421

  • it is a 5 minute drive for us to make it to Wrightsville Beach, It is about a 20-30 minute drive to Fort Fisher. But they have the Fort and the Aquarium down at the very end of HWY 40... Even though it is not called HWY 40 at this point... At the other end of 40 California.... But this is almost the very end of the road....
