lopez, I agree on the Syrian part. If God uses Antiochus Epiphanes as a template for antiChrist, then we should look for a new kingdom made of Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon & Jordan. Its leader will be Syrian by birth, but of European blood & he will have spent his youth in Rome. Plus he'll be very charming, folks will love him. He'll be royal but not next in line for the thrown.
