Actually, it was Bobby who saved the world from nuclear destruction (assuming you're talking about the Cuban Missile Crisis.)

Yes, I was talking about the Cuban Missile Crisis, and I never said that RFK didn't do anything whatsoever. What Bobby did was PROVE that he could be involved in such discussions/situations. He told the other advisors what e thought they should do, just like the others. In the end, it was mainly JFK with the help of EX-COMM who brought a swift end to the crisis. Whether the rumers of the U.S. removing missiles from Turkey are true or not, at least a nuclear war was evaded. But RFK did contribute

He contributed the diplomatic solution. That's pretty damn major.

And as for JFK, his actions, beginning with Bay of Pigs, precipitated the crisis, so in my view, his sheet just balances out (at best) and Bobby comes out ahead.

He does look beat up - and why on earth wouldn't he? his brother had just been murdered in front of the entire country.
