Sara & Sean Watkins - Kossuth House Concert, April 2008

We were so extremely fortunate to play as the first house concert hosts to the Grammy award winners from Nickel Creek. Seans impeccable guitar playing was flawless. Sara owned the place with a commanding performance all without microphones. Hands down, one the most amazing musical performances ever seen! This is a John Hartford cover from her new CD that came out April 7th produced by John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin. Paul Brion was kind enough to come & sit in on bass.

Great God Almighty. I would love to have been privy to that private concert. When is Nickel Creek getting back together by the way? And when are they coming to mid-Missouri? Saw them at The Blue Note in Columbia, MO...probably the best concert I've ever seen.

chris tours with the Punch Brothers. Sean has several side projects, currently touring with WPA. Sara had a solo cd and was touring for that, and sometimes Sean tours along with her.
