I saw Chuck here in the UK at Portsmouth when he was a mere stripling of 78 and he was excellent. A back up band of drums, bass and piano meant he had to work a bit on the guitar, resulting in only a couple of Chuck-clunkers, the rest of the time he was spot on with some vintage playing, and had twice the energy onstage of many musicians I've seen and played with.

@kjetin99 I mean son and grandson on guitars, Jimmy Marsala on bass,Bob Lohr on piano and Keith Robinson(I think) on drums-that is a great backup band Chuck Berry can rely on.

I think chuck has simply lost his timing. And that is no suprise considering his age. He is a credit to be doing this at his age, but i dont think this, and him today gives the legendary music he created, the justice it deserves. Just my opinion.
